J.R. Putman, Inc. will do a complete and thorough check of your unit which will include the following on your cooling unit:
1. Calibrate thermostat
2. Evaluate freon charge
3. Flush outdoor coil(when accessible)
4. Tighten all high and low voltage connections(where accessible)
5. Inspect air ducts
6. Measure air temperatures
7.Measure for correct air flow
8.Measure power usage on all motors
9.Test all capacitors
10.Perform safety check
11.Measure starting capabilities
12. Check safety controls
13. Minor condensate flush
14. Meg ohm the compressor
15. Inspect and tighten screws on contactor
16. Inspect unit for proper refrigerant level and adjust if necessary
17. Clean dirt, leaves and debris from inside cabinet
18. Inspect base pan for restricted drain openings—remove obstructions as necessary
19. Inspect coil and cabinet
20. Inspect fan motor and fan blades for wear and damage—on older models lubricate as needed
21. Inspect control box, associated controls/accessories, wiring and connections. Controls may include contactors, relays, circuit boards, capacitors, sump heat and other accessories. All control box and electrical parts should be checked for wear or damage.
22. Inspect compressor and associated tubing for damage
23. Inspect blower assembly (includes blower housing, blower wheel and motor)
24. On older models, lubricate motor and inspect and replace fan belt if needed
25. Inspect evaporator coil, drain pan and condensate drain lines.
26. Clean or replace air filters(owner supplied if throwaway type)
27. Inspect conditioned airflow system (ductwork)—check for leaks
28. Monitor system starting characteristics and capabilities
29. Listen for abnormal noise
30. Search for source of unusual odors
31. Monitor air conditioning and heat pump systems for correct refrigerant charge
32. Measure outdoor dry bulb temperature
33. Measure indoor dry and wet bulb temperature
34. Measure high and low side system pressures
35. Check vent system for proper operation
36. Monitor system for correct line and load volts/amps
Monitor system operation per manufacturer's specifications
37. Provide system operation report and recommend repairs or replacement as necessary
